Information Technology and Security System Development

The majority of projects require some degree of Information Technology and Security System coordination and integration. Advanced Project Management will work closely with the Owner to assess their existing systems and the desired requirements for the new or expanded systems. The key component to successful IT and Security Systems is identifying and selecting the right Vendors for the project. While consulting with the Owner, Advanced Project Management will structure the procurement criteria to ensure that the appropriate Vendors are selected. The selected IT and Security Vendors will then become members of the comprehensive Project Team.

Advanced Project Management will oversee the design of the IT and Security Systems and their integration into the construction documents. Understanding the constraints of the project, Advanced Project Management will develop and coordinate the installation schedule with the general construction schedule and that of other vendors such as furniture, to make certain that there is a smooth transition for the Owner.

Services associated with the Information Technology and Security Systems include:

Review Current System, Operation, Configuration and Cost

Review Current Systems and Operations & Develop IT and Security Requirements

Provide Budget Estimating & Coordinate Infrastructure Requirements in Construction Documents

Develop and Issue Requests for Proposal for IT and Security Vendors

Analyze Bids and Recommend Vendors & Perform Contract Negotiation, Administration, and Reconciliation
Oversee IT and Security Systems Designed by Others
Develop and Coordinate Installation Schedule with GC's Construction Schedule

Phase IT Installation with Furniture Vendor's Installation
Monitor Installations and Perform Quality Control Inspections
